书上都说 forget 表示“忘记”时，不可以连用具体的地址，此时要用 leave。如：
I've left my bag on the bus. 我把包忘在公共汽车上了。
I left my homework in mycar. 我把家庭作业遗忘在车里了。
但，2019年的天津高考考试题有如此一句（它对吗）：
Like Faith, who often forgetsher backpack inthe cafeteria, and Lucy, who just wants a hug.

forget 可以用来表示不小心忘了拿某物。
Oh damn! I've forgotten my umbrella. 噢，真该死！我把雨伞给忘了。
可是，提到地址时一般要用。
Oh damn! I've left my umbrella at home. 噢u，真该死！我把雨伞落在家了。
（不可以说： I've forgotten my umbrella at home.)
《朗文高级英语应试词典》（英汉双解）觉得 forget sth somewhere 是不对的，应该说 leave sthsomewhere： I discovered I had left my walking boots at home. 我发现我把我的步行靴忘在家了。
